Disc Golf Pocket Caddy

A disc golf pocket caddy app, simplifies scorekeeping and course navigation for players. It integrates with platforms like Disc Golf Course Review, providing course information, player stats, and the ability to share scores, making it a valuable tool for both casual and competitive disc golfers.

Vision

Create an experience that is informative, analytical, beautiful and trackable.  I solved many of these objectives with a high-res, zoomable overhead map of the course holes, incorporating shot tracer suggestions, and the ability to record shots.

The Why?

Knowledge is power as the old saying goes.  Accurate data is crucial to disc golfers, it provides players with insights into their performance, helping to analyze throw patterns, optimize strategies, and improve their overall game through informed decision-making.

The How.

Understanding the challenges and fears of disc golfers trying to play and keep score was a key objective before wire-framing solutions.  Understanding these challenges was done through live in-round interviews, while testing existing products on the market.  That feedback was recorded and taken back to the idea board as part of the design MVP.

Conclusion
